15 Japanese Firms to Invest in India

Gandhinagar Sept 13: Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe will Arrive in India today and would visit Gujarat Along with the prime minister Narendra Modi.

Sources say that the both the leaders will spend 2 days in state and will initiate a slew of developmental works. 12th Indo- Japanese annual summit will be held tomorrow.

Officials have said that at least 15 Japanese companies are keen to invest in Gujarat and will sign agreements with the state government.The summit will be held in the presence of both the Prime Ministers.

Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation vice-president and managing director D Thara said that "of the total 17-18 agreements to be signed during the summit, 15 will be between Japanese firms".

However, officials have not disclosed the investment details and said that industries will sign MOU's which were already committed earlier.
