SC nod to 6 new judges for Hyderabad High Court

New Delhi, Sept 13: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has approved the appointment of six judges in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
supreme court collegium has sent the names of new judges to The Prime Minister's Office to appoint them.The new 6 high court judges are Kongara Vijayalakshmi, P. Keshava Rao, M. Ganga Rao, DVS Somayajulu, Abhinand Kumar Shavili and T Amarnath Goud.
There are currently 27 judges serving in the High Courts, but it must to have 61 judges.
On January 9, the High Courts Advocates Association submitted a memorandum to Supreme Court Chief Justice Deepak Mishra to fill the vacancies as soon as possible.
