CRRI :30 percent drivers have Vision Problem

New Delhi Sept 12: Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) of Delhi had conducted a survey on the health conditions of drivers.Many shocking results were revealed

* 3 in 10 people drivers in the Delhi suffer from poor far sight acuity.

* 50 % of them have poor near visual acuity.

* 29% of the drivers admitted that they drive the vehicles for more than 10 hours a day which is against the law.

* 627 private cars, taxi, truck and bus drivers participated in the survey.

* 19% of the drivers were severely color blind.

* 23% drivers have mild color blindness.

Finally, the survey has stated that many people don't recognize that they have color blindness and this leads to accidents and huge Traffic jams in the city.
