Girl creates Guinness Record by whistling for 30 hours

Chennai, Sept 12: A girl has created a Guinness Record. Pooja Chandramohan a trained Whistler and classical music singer has entered the Guinness Book with her 30-hour spell of melodious whistling and singing.

Earlier the record was held by Canadian Jennifer Anavi Davies. she had a record of 25 hours 30 minutes and five seconds. Pooja has started whistling at 9 am On Sept 9 and completed at 3 pm on Sept 10. The event took place at Shreyans Bhavan, Wallajah Road. She has sung many Tamil, English, Hindi, Korean songs.

She has performed not only in front of Guinness book officials but also chief guests such as Prof C M K Reddy, President of TN Medical Practitioners Association and S P Sailaja Sudhakar, a playback singer.

Pooja has said that "I am overwhelmed by the turn of events. I didn't expect any of this to happen so it still feels like a dream. I am thankful for this unique opportunity".
