VK Sasikala Sacked from AIADMK

Chennai Sept 12: A new Twist has emerged in TamilNadu Politics.VK Sasikala who is in Jail has been sacked as General secretary of the AIADMK party.

A resolution was passed at the general council meeting of AIADMK party that "that only those appointed by Jayalalithaa before her death will continue in party positions, effectively removing VK Sasikala and her nephew TTV Dinakaran from top posts".

The meeting was attended by CM E Palaniswamy and deputy CM O Pannerselvam.Earlier the both the factions have merged upon the agreement that Chinamma would be removed from the party.



However TTV Dinakaran has threatened the government and withdrew his support, but the government went ahead and passed the resolution.

Many people hoped that this decision would be taken at an later date just ahead of elections but both factions who were eager to settle the matter fast have taken the decision after they held 2-3 meeting of MLA who have supported the party leadership.
