ACB officials arrested Wyra VRO

Khammam, Sept 12: The ACB officials have arrested Village Revenue Officer (VRO), who caught allegedly taking bribe at Somavaram village, Wyra Mandal of Khammam district here on Monday.

The information reported that they arrested Mr. Minugu Ravi, VRO was caught red-handed by the ACB officials at Somavaram village while accepting the bribe amount of Rs 27,000 from the complainant Mr.J Govinda Rao of Gandugulapadu village in the same district.

The VRO took the bribe for processing the file related to the regularisation of 'Sadabainama' pertaining to the lands of the complainant, an ACB statement here said.



The bribe amount was recovered from his left side pant packet at his instance.

The accused officer was being arrested and produced before the Special Court for ACB cases here, the statement added.
