Jethmalani Quits as lawyer

New Delhi Sept 10: A popular Advocate Ram Jethmalani yesterday has announced his retirement.He has said that "the present NDA government has let down the nation like the previous UPA dispensation."

Jethmalani has also said that "the present status of governance is a calamity and said he would continue to fight corrupt politicians"

He has also said that "The country is not in a good shape. The previous and the current governments, both have let down the nation very badly."

Finally, he has said that "It is the duty of the members of the bar and all good citizens to rise to this great calamity they should do their best to see that those in positions of power are shown the exit door as soon as possible".

Currently, the lawyer has fought very high profile cases and has strongly disagreed with current Finance Member on Black Money. He is also a Rajya Sabha MP.He has served a seven decade in the legal field.

* Ketan Parekh
* Kanamuli in 2 G spectrum case

Recently he has also fought against Arun Jaitley in the defamation case filed against Arvind Kejriwal, however, he has quit from the case after Delhi CM has accused him of using bad words against Finance minister .
