Ravi Shastri demands Holidays for Players

Mumbai, Sept 10: Indian Cricket team coach Ravi Shastri has once again opened up a new controversy. He has demanded the BCCI to grant holidays for the team players in between two series. Coach has said that "If sufficient relaxation period is provided for players between two series the players would perform better and would be refreshing for them".

He has shared his thoughts via a video he has sent to BCCI, he has expressed displeasure because there is no sufficient gap between series of Sri Lanka in December and South Africa in January.

Currently, the team Indias schedule is as follows

Australia series: September 17 to October 13.(T20s and ODI's).

Newzealand series up to November 7.

Sri Lanka series: November 15 to December 24 (Only 1-week gap between Newzealand and Sri Lanka series)

South Africa: India would visit South Africa from December 28.

Finally, the coach has said that BCCI should follow the England and Cricket boards where the players celebrate Christmas in their country in spite of busy schedule. Many players are also on the same side and them to believe that they should be given holidays to celebrate Diwali in our country.
