AR Rahman :"This is not my India"

Mumbai Sept 9: An incident has shocked India.
Senior Journalist Gauri Lankesh Murder has created ripples in the society. Many Journalists and politicians have condemned her death.

Recently Music maestro A R Rahman has spoken on this issue.He has condemned the killing of senior journalist-activist Gauri Lankesh.He has also said that "the current scenario does not represent the India he knows."



Oscar winning-musician while speaking at the premiere of his upcoming film "One Heart: The A R Rahman Concert Film" has said that "I am so sad about this. these kinds of things don't happen in India. This is not my India. I want India to be progressive and kind". He has also spoke about many issues and has breifed the reporters about his upcoming film.

The Kannada journalist who was popular for her hard hitting views and has brought a transformational change in the Kannadigas with her works was shot dead by unidentified assailants at her residence on September 5.
