Mayor, deputy Mayer for Kakinada notification released

Kakinada, September 08: The notification was issued for the elected of Mayor and deputy mayor of Kakinada town, Andhra Pradesh.

From this backdrop, the State Election Commission has issued a notification here on today.

In this notification, the Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be sworn in on September 16 to nominate all the candidates who have won the respective divisions by 12th of this month and elect Mayor and deputy mayors.

We knew that TDP has been successful in the recently held Kakinada Corporation elections.

In a total of 48 divisions, the TDP and BJP alliance has won 35 seats while YSRCP has won only 10 seats and remaining three are won by others.
