30 people caught during Ganesh Immersion

Hyderabad, September 08: As we knew that, Ganesh Immersion has successfully completed on September 5. But here the SHE team has caught the 30 persons on the day for harassing the women.

According to the police, They caught 30 persons including 8 minor at various places across the city

Additional Commissioner of Police, Swati Lakra, said that The She Teams were placed at different spots in the city to check on women harassment during the celebrations. "While the teams were observing, some people were following the procession and sprinkling water on women. Some were throwing water packets at them too."



"Some of them stalked women. Few others were trying to touch them inappropriately in an inebriated condition. All these activities were video-recorded and they were caught red-handed with video evidence," she said.
