AP CM urged youth to avoid smartphones

Amaravati, Sept 7: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has laid the foundation stone for Construction of Amaravati American Institute of Medical Sciences (AAIMS) through video linkage from A1 convention center here on Thursday

Mr. Naidu predicted that in future even Americans would come to Amaravathi for medical treatment as the treatment will be available at an affordable price. The Chief Minister listed out various free medical schemes, being implemented by the government.

He also advised to youth that The cell phone should be used only when it is necessary, but it is not good for health to stay with a smartphone for twenty-four hours, says CM Chandrababu Naidu.

Mr Naidu said Amaravathi is going to be medical education hub as 13 renowned medical colleges and institutions were being established.

Minister D Umameshwara Rao, K Srinivas, Bhuma Akhilapriya, MP K Srinivas were among those present.

The AAIMS is being established in three phases at a cost of Rs 600 crore by NRIs and the 700-bed hospital is coming up in a 20 acres land at Ibrahimpatnam, on the outskirts of the city.
