Australia: Lord Ganesh used for promoting lamb meat consumption

Melbourne: In an advertisement lord Ganesha and others gods of other religion were shown as consuming Lamb at a dining table. The Hindu society of Autralia got upset with this and demanded removal of that Ad.

This advertisement was released yesterday in the market by Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA).Other Gods in this ad were Jesus, Buddha, Thor and Zeus.

"to lamb - the meat we can all eat" says the Ad.

Nitin vashist , the spokesperson of Indian community said "He is shown as ... Eating lamb and looking for a new marketing strategy for himself. [That] is really very insensitive to the community"

MLA Group Marketing Manager Andrew Howie said "We know that lamb has been the meat that brings everyone together for decades, and what better way to celebrate the product than over a modern spring barbecue,".
