BRICS statement shocked Pakistan

Reacting to the statement made by BRICS, Pakistan said that it does not provide any safe heavens for terror outfits in their country. Defence minister of Pakistan Khurram Dastagir Khan has rejected BRICS statement.

BRICS made a statement on Monday that terror outfits in Pakistan pose a security concern; this statement was made by group of five countries.

"These organisations, they have some of their remnants in Pakistan, which we're cleaning," Defence Minister Khurram Dastagir Khan told the Geo TV channel, without specifying which groups he was referring to.

"But Pakistan, we reject this thing categorically, no terrorist organisation has any complete safe havens."

The groups named by BRICS include anti-india militant terror outfit jaish and Lashkar. Haqqani network was also on the lsit of terror outfits which allied with Afgan Taliban.
