Lucknow Metro inaugurated

Lucknow Sept 5: A good news for residents in Capital city of Uttar Pradesh.

Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today have inaugurated the Lucknow Metro at the Transport Nagar railway station.Both the leaders have flagged off the first service.

The following leaders were present at the inauguration

* Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik.
* senior Ministers of the state cabinet.
* local legislators.
* Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Hardeep Puri.
* Principal Advisor to the project E. Sreedharan.



Officials have said that the 8.5 km stretch of the rapid transport system
Lucknow Metro starting from "Transport Nagar to Charbagh railway station" will be open for public from Tomorrow.

CM has addressed the conference and has said that "Uttar Pradesh Metro Corporation will be constituted for starting metro services in various cities of the state".

Finally, he has assured the people that remaining phases of Lucknow Metro would be completed as soon as possible.
