VH writes to Defense Minister

Hyderabad, Sept 4: The Senior Congress leader and Former MP V. Hanumantha Rao has written a letter to Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman here on Monday to not hand over the Bison Polo Ground for the proposed construction of the new Secretariat of Telangana.

In a letter to Defence minister, he said that the present Secretariat had accommodated the entire offices of the united Andhra Pradesh. Further, there was more than required place after the Andhra Pradesh government had moved its offices to its new capital Amaravati, he said.

The old Secretariat complex has sufficient parking place and is the most convenient for all the officials and the general public who need to go to meet officials, the former MP added.

If the new Secretariat comes up there it would result in massive traffic jams in the entire area, he said and argued that there was no need for a new Secretariat.

He also alleged Chief Minister K Chandra Shekar Rao that, He has promised that he will provide 3 acres of land to Dalit farmers, but failed to fulfill the promise further stated that KCR' dialogues are only useful for films only not in real life, he added.
