New Delhi Sept 4: A company's founders have tried to help the company.Infosys promoters and N.R. Narayana Murthy, Nandan Nilekani have offered to sell 1.77 crore shares worth up to Rs 2,038 crore.
Recently INFY board had agreed to Rs 13,000 crore share buyback offer. Earlier the company has fixed the price Rs 1,150 per share.
Currently, the promoters and families held 29.28 crore shares, or 12.75%, in Infosys .
Nilekani along with his family has offered to sell 58 lakh Shares.
Narayana Murthy and his family have offered to sell 54 lakh shares.
K Dinesh has offered 29 lakh shares.
S Gopalkrishna and Family have offered 22 Lakh shares.
Experts said that this move by the company would help to settle some of the internal issues of the company after the dramatic resignation of Vishal Sikka as CEO.
Recently Nandan Nilekani a co-founder has taken charge as nonexecutive chairman and is in mission mode to sort out managerial issues so that the company is back on track.
