Suresh Prabhu thanked to 13 lakh Railway family

New Delhi, Sept 3: The Former Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu said, "The relationship with the railway ministry has ended."

He responded to Twitter during the swearing-in ceremony of new ministers in the Union Cabinet.

After the big Cabinet reshuffle, Suresh Prabhu who had offered to resign after a spate of train accidents on Twitter signals that he won't be railway minister.

Suresh Prabhu congratulates new cabinet ministers. He said his responsibilities as railway minister were ended.

However, whether he gets defense department or not will be known soon.

"Thanks to all 13 Lacs plus rail family for their support, love, goodwill. I will always cherish these memories with me. Wishing you all a great life," Prabhu tweeted after a swearing in ceremony of ministers at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

He said he would remember the long-term experience of the 13 lakh Railway family. He hoped that new ministers would work better in taking the country forward.
