Class 10 student gang raped and murdered

Vizianagaram, Sep 3: Here gruesome incident has unveiled while a class 10 girl student kidnapped, allegedly gang-raped and murdered in the Gadelavasala area in Vizianagaram district here on Saturday.

The incident came to light on Saturday morning after locals noticed the body of a girl floating in a pond.

While coming to details, The deceased was identified as M. Indumathi, a Class 10 student of a government high school and native of Reddayyavalasa under Bobbili Mandal in Vizianagaram district.

On Friday morning, the girl had gone to school, located at Gadelavalasa, close to her hometown. But the girl didn’t return home after the school hours.

DSP of Bobbili, S. Sowmyalatha said that a medical shop owner and two more persons in Gadelavalasa had seen the girl talking to D. Sankara Rao, a painter and his friends Lokesh, chukka Rambabu, Kodeti Raviteja are native of Gadelavalasa area, on Friday evening.

According to the police, primary investigations state that the miscreants said that they have raped the girl and then killed her and threw the body into a pond.

The police have registered a case and arrested the culprits and sent the body for the post mortem.
