Vijayawada, Sept 02: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Governor ESL Narasimhan have extended Bakrid greetings to Muslim brethren in the two states. They said, "Let the festival rekindle in us the spirit of sacrifice, promote qualities of sharing and strengthen bonds of brotherhood and harmony".
Governor ESL Narasimhan said,"On the solemn occasion of Bakrid (Id-ul-Zuha), I extend my cordial greetings and good wishes to all my Muslim brethren in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana."
Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said that the prayers of Muslims would help the State in development in all spheres.
"I greet the Muslim brethren a happy festival," said Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy.
Marketing and Warehousing Minister Adinarayana Reddy extended his greetings. The Opposition Party YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy also greeted the Muslims on the occasion of Bakrid or Eidul Adha. He wished the Muslims peace, happiness, and progress on the occasion of Bakrid.
