Eight-year-old child suffers from a rare genetic disorder

Telangana, Sept 2: An Eight-year-old child Aswanth from Telangana has been affected with Apert syndrome. The disease is a rare genetic disorder which is affected one in 65000 people. Currently, the child condition is deplorable because his fingers and toes to be fused together.

The boy is unable to use his hands and can’t wear shoes due to the genetic disorder. His head grew abnormally large. The parents took the child to the hospital and the doctors have told that RS 25 lakhs would be needed to cure the patient and an advanced surgery would be needed.

Telangana CM KCR had donated RS 1 lakh from CM relief fund.The parents of Child being poor cannot afford the treatment because of Huge costs and they started crowd Funding campaign and they have collected Rs 80000 by far.
