Now, School in Cinema Hall

New Delhi, September 02: The Ministry of Human Resource Development is taking major initiatives in this direction to promote education in every village and every region. The HRD Ministry is taking advantage of the cinemas present in small towns across the country and is considering to show educational content on them. It was started by NASSCOM.

If the proposal does get approved, human resource development(HRD) ministry will showcase educational content through its DTH channel, Swayam Prabha, to cinema halls in small towns and urban populated areas with a population of less than 1 lakh.

Under the scheme, the Human Resource Development Ministry has said that these content will be displayed in theaters for students from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Actually, this scheme is being made because there are such theaters in many smaller cities that no one can use. Taking advantage of these vacant films, the educational content will be shown in this. These content will reach the students of all small cities.

In addition, it will help students to understand Syllabus. The Ministry has also launched 32 academic channels for higher education, which will help the students to prepare for the IIT Entrance Examination. These channels have been prepared by the IIT professors.
