CBSE allows schools to run shops to sell books

New Delhi, August 31: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has amended the guidelines issued to its affiliated schools in April. The books can be booked in CBSE affiliates. And also NCERT books can be sold along with stationery items required for these students.

In a statement issued in last April, no business stores should be set up in schools and books should not be sold in the school premises. According to the latest amendment, schools can sell books through their website. In a recently issued statement, it is possible to set up a book market in the school premises if necessary.
