Double-bedroom scheme foundation stone laid by KTR

Hyderabad, Aug 31: As part of Telangana's prestigious project, the IT Minister KTR has laid a foundation stone for the Double-bedroom scheme at Rampally of Ghatkesar here on today. Also, the 6,200 double bedrooms will be built by GHMC.

Till now, the govt had spent Rs. 8,500 crore for the Double-bedroom scheme, which had now reached a 1 lakh mark by GHMC, mentioned KTR in his blogspot.

KTR tweeted that "Happy to have laid the foundation for 6200 plus 2BHK houses at Rampalli. With this, @GHMCOnline has achieved an important milestone of 1 lakh 2BHK houses. With an investment of 8500 Crores within one year, this is the largest housing initiative for any Mega City in India today".

He stated that it is the 1st scheme in the country to undertake such a big building project. Also, the Telangana Transport Minister Patnam Mahender Reddy and local officials and engineers participated in the event.
