PM Modi inaugurated Highway projects in Rajastan

Udaipur, Aug 30: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for several highway projects in Udaipur Rajasthan, with an outlay of over Rs 15,000 crore on Tuesday.

Modi has attended a public meeting held in Khelgaon of Rajasthan here on Tuesday.

He also inaugurated 11 completed national highway projects, totaling a length of about 873 kms. These include a six-lane, cable-stayed bridge over the Chambal river in Kota.

He said that his government had increased the speed, scale, scope for development activities.
Revering the "land of warriors", PM Modi said that his government has done development and not politics.

He attended the opening ceremony of several highways projects that would cost around Rs 15,000 crore worth of development works in Rajasthan was a "historic" event.

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and others participated in the program.
