PM Modi urged to set up awareness programs on GST

Rajasthan, Aug 30: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi has praised the GST's policy of commodity and service tax. This unique taxation system, which was changed the country's tax system in one night.

Modi has participated in a public meeting held in Khelgaon of Rajasthan on Tuesday. He said the GST would reduce shipping costs, as well as truck drivers' revenue also increased.

The PM Modi has suggested to officers to set up special awareness programs on GST for 15 days to provide information on GST to the small business entrepreneurs. By these programs, they will know the benefits of the GST.

Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, and others participated in the program.
