Kakinada Civic Polls ended peacefully

Kakinada, Aug 29: The Kakinada Municipal Corporation polls have been ended peacefully.
The EC officials are allowed the people for voting, who are in line before 5 PM.
The Polls are witnessed 50 percent voting till Tuesday afternoon with 2,29,373 registered voters.
The Voting has recorded 61 per cent till 4 pm today.The officials estimate that 65 per cent of the polling will be recorded at end of polls.
The polling that began at 7 AM today in the municipality had YSR Congress Party contesting in 48 wards, TDP in 39 wards and BJP in nine wards.
The rest being contested by Congress and the Left parties apart from the 121 independent candidates contesting the elections.
The votes Counting will take place on September 1.
