New 1000 rupee note will be available from

New Delhi, Aug 29: Is the Government is in a plan to release new 1,000-rupee currency note? After revoking the currency notes of Rs 500 and 1,000 in November 2016, the new design and security features were introduced with 500 and 2,000 notes. Recently, a 200-rupee note was also
brought into the market.

There is no currency notes in the denomination between Rs 2,000 to Rs 500 note. Hence, the new features have been proposed to introduce a 1,000-rupee note in the new design, revealing the DNA magazine's credentials.

It stated that new note printing will begin soon. The DNA also revealed that the new note-to-design, security features and Preparations for paper are progressing, the new 1,000-rupee note will be available from December, 2017.
