Man murdered over a dispute for memory card

Vizianagaram, Aug 28: Here is a shocking news that a fight between two tribals led to a murder in Mentada Mandal in the Vizianagaram district on Sunday.

While coming to details, K Chinnayya of Sangam Guddivalasa village accused that K Lakshmana Rao had stolen memory card from his mobile phone. This led to a minor scuffle between the two.

Later, Pottaiah, a relative of Lakshmana Rao, intervened in the issue and confronted Chinnayya. Irked by the support of Pottaiah for Lakshmana Rao, he stabbed Pottaiah with a knife. Pottaiah succumbed to his injuries.

The incident sent shockwaves among local people as murder was committed for the sake of a memory card worth Rs 150. A case was registered.
