Nandyala By Polls:Almost 75% of Polling completed

Kurnool, Aug 23: According to latest updates of Nandyal By Polls, The polling has been going on with a huge majority of voters.There is 72% of polling has completed up to 3 PM, In Nandyala rural 81% recorded, Nandyala urban 67%, Gospadu Mandal 81% recorded till now.

There are long queues continue at polling booths for the Nandyal by-elections since morning with the voters including women, old-aged and disabled persons are exercising their voting rights.Totally 1,57,401 Votes are polled, in those 81,492 women and 75,910 men are used their votes respecively.

According to the reports, 2500 police personnel have been deployed near the polling booths so that the voting process is conducted smoothly.

Visiting the polling booths in Nandyala constituency, TDP candidate, Bhuma Brahmananda Reddy said that the polling has been peaceful and that it reached around 60 percent by afternoon and he is expecting above 80 percent by the end of the day.

He expressed happiness that women voters are in a majority in almost all areas and the polling percentage took a hike by at least 20 percent compared to the previous election.
