Modi praises Niti Aayog Vice Chairman Arvind Panagariya

New Delhi Aug 23: A leader has praised another yesterday.

Prime Minister on Tuesday has showered lavish praises on Niti Aayog outgoing Vice-Chairman Arvind Panagariya.PM has said that " he has quietly done marvels in shaping the new body that replaced the Planning Commission".

Arvind Panagariya is the first V-C of the Niti Aayog a Governments Think Thank body established to suggest the government on key policy issues.

VC has earlier announced that he would return to the US and leave the government Body Aug 31.PM Modi has thanked Arvind for hard working nature and said that he is working in Mission Mode even just before one week of his retirement.

He has also said that generally, people take 1 month time just to pack their luggage when they leave for the US. He has said that he has great work and the country will always remember him and his contribution.

PM has hailed his low profile nature and said that this quality has helped him to achieve great success.

Finally, Modi ended his praise for him by saying that "Thank You, My dear friend, for accepting my invitation to work for India even though he wanted to settle in America".
