PM Modi advices Ministers not to stay in 5 Star Hotels

New Delhi Aug 21: An Advice was given yesterday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said to his ministers that "they should avoid staying in five-star hotels and availing of any benefit from public-sector undertakings attached to their ministries, including using their cars".

PM has also cautioned that all his colleagues must stay in government residences allotted to them during their official visits.Sources say that he had advised the above suggestions after a cabinet meeting that was concluded last week.

Experts say that PM is unhappy with the recent tendency of some ministers preference to stay in five-star hotels instead of accommodation that the government provides.

He expressed his displeasure when some of the ministers were using vehicles from public-sector undertakings under their ministries. Some Ministers claim that he has outspoken his mind because of his zero tolerance of corruption approach.Let's hope that ministers follow the PM advice.
