AP CM to participate in election campaign in Nandyala

Kurnool, Aug 19: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is going to participate in the campaigning Nandyala By elections for two days from today (Saturday).

The Opposition Leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been campaigning vigorously from since last 10 days. The YSRC chief will wind up his campaign on August 20.

Interestingly, the fight is between the TDP leaders who went into Jagan camp and the YSRC leaders who switched loyalties and joined the TDP.

As it is the loyalty switchers who are fighting it out, the YSRC is concentrating on defections, drawing strength from the fact that MLC Silpa Chakrapani Reddy has resigned from his position before joining the YSRC.

The YSRC is slamming the TDP for engineering defection of 21 of its MLAs who are yet to resign from the YSRC. At the same time, the TDP is attacking the YSRC, referring to the "intemperate and abusive" language being used by Jagan against Chandrababu Naidu and Jagan's corruption cases.

Mr.Naidu will arrive in Nandyal on Saturday and will begin his campaign at Ayyalurumetta in the town. He will also make a night-halt at Nandyal. He will resume his second-day campaign on Sunday and visit Gospadu and Nandyal Mandal to seek voters' support for the TDP candidate.
