140 Animals dead in Kaziranga National Park due to floods

Kaziranga, Aug 18: Indias Famous wild life park has been damaged.Floods have hit the 481 sq km area of the Kaziranga National Park in Assam
* 140 animals have died these include
* 7 rhinos
* 122 swamp deer
* 2 elephants
* 3 wild boars
* 2 hog deer
* 3 sambhar deer
* 1 Buffalo
* 1 porcupine
Park Officials have said that the intensity of floods have increased this year and many animals have died because of drowning in them.KNP guards have said that "rescue operation to protect the animals and shift them to other parks is on ".
