Naryana Murthy vs Sikka

Bengaluru Aug 18: A controversy has erupted.
Vishal Sikka has resigned as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Infosys. Recently Company Founder Narayana Murthy's personal email has been leaked and it has created a ruckus in the top brass of the company.

The email states that " he claimed to have been told by at least three independent directors of the company that Vishal Sikka was more chief technology officer (CTO) material than chief executive officer (CEO) material".



Sources said that the email was written on August 9.The email also claims that even Ravi Venkatesan (co-chairman) had complaints regarding Sikka.

Murthy said that "he has nothing against Sikka and has never commented about his strategy or its execution”. He added that the problem was in the governance at the company.

Finally, the internal rift has popped up once again and has lead to the resignation of CEO.
