Silpa Chakrapani Reddy's resignation accepted

Kurnool, Aug 16: As we know that Silpa Chakrapani Reddy was resigned from his Kurnool MLC post with the directions of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on August 03.

The Council Incharge Chairman Reddy Subramanyam has accepted the resignation of Mr. Chakrapani, who had submitted his resignation on August 3, and we have asked him to come and meet in person, but he hadn't turned up.

Mr. Chakrapani Reddy on the very day of joining YSRC on August 2 had resigned from his MLC position on the directives of YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.



At that point, both Mr. Silpa Chakrapani and YSR Congress had claimed that this resignation is to uphold the values and respect for politics.

While the Council Vice Chairman is able to accept the resignation of MLC Mr. Chakrapani Reddy, the speaker still kept pending the disqualification petition on YSRC defected MLAs since March 5, 2016.

Even the High Court had given notices to the defected Minister ordering him to give an explanation.
