Fire accident occurred in Apoorva Textile showroom

Chittoor, Aug 11: As we know that the Chennai silks showroom was burnt in a fire accident in Chennai. A similar incident has occurred in Chittoor district, while a cloth showroom titled as Apoorva textiles was gutted after a fire raged in the old-twin buildings in which it was located, leading to its collapse.

According to sources, the fire began at Apoorva Cloth Showroom at 2:30 am but caught the attention of security guards after it began to rage half-an-hour later.

Fire personnel rushed to the spot but the building, which owing to the severity of the blaze and its age, collapsed. Sources from the fire department said all the stock of the store was reduced to ashes.

The store's management said they had been contemplating moving the showroom to another building which is currently under construction.
