No Corporate Loan has been written off :Jaitley

New Delhi Aug 11: An information was shared today.
Arun Jaitley Union Finance minister has said that "not even a single rupee of loans taken by the corporates has been written off by the government ".

He said the above remarks during the question hour of the Lok Sabha.Minister has also said that "writing off a loan was a commercial decision of banks and added that there has been no scheme of farm loan waiver by the Centre since 2014." He has also urged "the Opposition to first get the facts before talking about such issues".

Earlier opposition members have alleged that Government has written off huge amounts of loans given to corporates after 2014.He has also said that states may spend funds for the farm loan waivers and center has no such provision.
