Venkaiah Naidu sworn as India's vice president

New Delhi Aug 11: An event took place today. M Venkaiah Naidu sworn in as Indias Vice President. He was elected on Aug 5, 2017, by defeating Gopal Krishna Gandhi. Countrys vice president is also chairman of Upper House Vice president.

President Ramnath Kovind has administered the oath of Naidu.

The event was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan.PM Narendra Modi and BJP party president Amit Shah were present at the event.
