YSRCP Youth leader killed for stopping harassment

Chittoor, Aug 09: Here is a gruesome incident has occurred while a Youth leader of YSR Congress Party was killed by a gang of 3 men for warning against harassment at Madanapalli in Chittoor district here on Tuesday.

While coming to details, The deceased identified as Sattar Beig(35), who was working carpenter and YSRCP youth leader of Mandanapalli has a wife and two children. Sattar's brother-in-law Imran, who is running a general store in the town, had a dispute with the accused Harshavardhan, Vishnu, and Kothi Mani.

The accused has been harassing a girl, who is a relative of Imran. Imran warned them several times and threatened them with dire consequences if they torture the girl.

Developing grudge on Imran, the accused consumed alcohol and attacked Imran with stones. Imran with the help of his cousin YSRCP leader Sattar Beig went to attack the gang, who stabbed the leader in the heart and fled the spot. Sattar collapsed on the spot. He was shifted to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

Police have reached the spot and sent the bodey for post mortem and begun the search operatio to nab the accused men. YSRCP Peddamadyam MP P Prasad Reddy and several leaders expressed condolences on his death.
