Collector Amrapali asks to wear handloom dress weekly once

Warangal, Aug 07: The Warangal Urban Collector Amrapali has called on Monday for wearing handlooms weekly once and urged to help the handloom weavers.

Amrapali has participated in the program held at Public Garden in Hanmakonda as part of National Handloom Day celebrations.

While speaking on this occasion, Amrapali said that the government is working hard to help the handloom workers.The workers also working hard in the production of handloom clothes.

At the festival of Bathukamma,She will distribute the handloom sarees to women.

In this program, handloom laborers are displayed the handlooms and some looms equipments.

Amrapali also expressed the greeting of Raksha Bandhan in the event.
