Mumbai Aug 6: A shocking news has been revealed.
S&P Global Ratings has published a report regarding Indian telecom industry. The main highlights of the report are
* Reliance Jio the new telecom operator would soon end giving free offers to the customers.
* The company would rationalize its tariff plans over next one and half year.
* Jio would focus on achieving sustainable revenue.
* The company has disrupted the market by offering free voice calls through its LTE technology.
* Currently many operators revenue has declined and they have also cut the prices of 3G/4G data services.
Experts said that the entry of Jio has led to the exit of some companies such as Telenor and merger of operators. Vodafone has merged with Idea. RCOM will merge with Aircel. Airtel would acquire Telenor.
