APPSC Group III Mains Exams are started

Amaravathi, Aug 6: The APPSC has been conducting the Group III Mains exam for Panchayat Secretary posts will be held online across nine districts on August 6 and the remaining four districts on August 7.

For Vizianagaram, East Godavari, Nellore, and Kurnool, the exam will be conducted on August 7, while for the rest of the districts, it will be held on August 6, APPSC chairperson P. Udaya Bhaskar informed at a press conference. Exam papers will be different for both days.

There is a huge demand for panchayat secretary post was given to a maximum age of 42 years.

The exam will comprise two papers, namely General Studies & Mental Ability, and Rural Development and Problems in Rural Areas, with special reference to Andhra Pradesh. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.

Of the over six lakh applicants, 52,750 candidates have been shortlisted for the Mains exam. On August 6, the exam will be conducted for 35,150 candidates in 135 centers. The next day, it will be held for 17,600 candidates across 68 centers.

In Hyderabad too, the test will be conducted in two centers on the first day, and one center on the second. Timings of the examination will be between 9.30 am and 12 noon and 3 pm to 5.30 pm.

Candidates will be allowed into the venue after verification of their original photo identity, between 8 am and 8.45 am, with a grace period of 15 minutes up to 9 am, and later 1.30 pm to 2.15 pm, with a grace period up to 2.30 pm.
