Colombo, August 05: Team India has smashed the Sri Lankan batsmen here in Colombo in the Second test on day 3,

The Sri Lanka team has bowled out for 183/ 10, Indian bowlers pacer Shami, Duo spinner Ravi Ashwin Ravindra Jadeja played the vital role in the bowling field.

Ravi Ashwin took 5 wickets,, while Jaddu, Shami takes 2 wickets respectively.

Earlier, India put on a batting exhibition in the first innings.

India's lower batting order came to the party on Day 2, helping their team amass 622/9 declared.



Ravindra Jadeja (70 not out), Wriddhiman Saha (67) and Ravichandran Ashwin (54) all hit half-centuries to consolidate India's strong position in the Test.

Niroshan Dickwella was the highest scorer among the Lankans with a quickfire 51 runs off 48 deliveries which included seven boundaries and a six.
