Telangana Govt urges for land acquisition

Hyderabad, Aug 03: The Telangana government has decided to make land acquisition for all industrial projects in the state. The order was issued on Wednesday to the authorities instructing them to complete the process by the end of September.

* The government has initiated two national investments and manufacturing zones (NIMZ) in Zahirabad in Sanga Reddy district of Muchharla in borders of Rangareddy and Mahabubnagar districts. Each requirement is 12500 acres, of which 15,000 acres are government land. 3500 acres have been collected for another 10,000 acres.

* The 1200 acres of land acquisition for Kakatiya Mega Jowli Park, between Warangal Rural District and Chintapalli-Sampampetta, needs more than 500 acres of road expansion and other infrastructure.

* The government has decided to set up a separate park for small scale industrialists in 500 acres in Malkapur of Yadadri District. There are 350 acres yet to be collected.

* The 150 acres required for the plastic park to be set up between Siddipeta-Yadadri districts.

* Due to lack of funds and technical problems, the delay has been occurring on the projects. Recently Chief Minister KCR, Minister of Industry and CommerceKTR, reviewed the land acquisition of industrial projects. The land acquisition was ordered to be completed soon.

These projects are included in the new Land Acquisition Act without the difficulty of land acquisition.

Accordingly, the land acquisition process will be implemented immediately. The government has decided to release Rs 2,000 crore for land acquisition.

The land was allocated to all projects until the end of September. The collectors of the industries, revenue departments, and district collectors should focus on it.
