Mithali Raj about loss in World Cup

Indian Women Cricket team captain Mithali Raj has spoken to media yesterday.She has shared her feelings regarding the loss of the team in the final of the World cup in England recently.

Mithali has said that " I had not forgotten the 2005 World Cup where India has reached the finals of the tournament". She has said that we had not received any support at that time. we were not encouraged by BCCI also .we have performed well to reach the finals and we had lost to Australia in the finals by 98 runs. With the defeat, we have lost our first chance to win the trophy.



She has also said that the situations have changed in 2017 world cup.We have defeated Australia in semi final and also we were under a lot of pressure because we got good recognition from Indian fans and BCCI.we couldn't handle the pressure so we have lost to England in recent World Cup.

Meanwhile in order to encourage sports persons Telangana Badminton Association vice, president V Chamundeswarinath yesterday has gifted a BMW car for Mithali as she was promised.
