Osmania General Hospital Doctors in strike

Hyderabad, Aug 1: A protest took place recently. Osmania General Hospital (OGH) Junior Doctors in Hyderabad have taken up a strike in the hospital premises.The Junior Doctors have demanded security for their lives.

Recently two female Junior doctors were assaulted by the relatives of a 70-year-old patient who passed away at the hospital.The doctors immediately began their protests after this incident has come to light.



Sources say that approximately 250 junior doctors and house surgeons have boycotted their duties except for emergency services since Sunday night.

Doctors have said that this is the fourth such incident that took place in last one month. They have also demanded that proper security facilities must be installed in the hospital.However senior doctors attended the emergency services and have persuaded the juniors to call off the strike.
