Kohli breakes Sachin Record

Galle, July 30: Indian Skipper Virat Kohli is in tremendous form in his international career, especially in test cricket career.

Here Kohli surpassed the Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar here on Saturday.

He just did what most batsmen dream of - breaking Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar's record.

In the ongoing Test match against Sri Lanka in Galle, Kohli broke Tendulkar's record of reaching 1000 Test runs as captain outside India.

Kohli reached his century in 17 innings while Sachin took 19 to achieve the feat.

In India's second innings, Kohli scored a swashbuckling 103 off 136 deliveries and smashed five boundaries and a six.
