Pakistan SC disqualifies PM Nawaz Sharif

Islamabad, July 28: A leader has received a shock. Pakistan Supreme Court today has disqualified Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in the Panama Papers case. A five-member bench has pronounced the verdict unanimously.

The court has said that PM, his sons, and daughter Maryam will be prosecuted by the National Accountability Bureau. Sources say that Shahbaz Sharif would be the new prime minister.



The JIT panel had submitted a report about assets which he has held in overseas banks.Earlier Panama Papers a joint investigation of ICJ had exposed that Sharif and his family had black money stored in foreign offshore accounts.

The Supreme court has appointed a JIt to investigate the matter and PM and his family members have appeared before probe panel and submitted their claims.
