Telangana, AP to get new separate Governors

Hyderabad, July 28: As we know that, ESL Narasimhan is serving as common governor to the both Telugu states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The two separate governors will be appointed soon to the Telugu states.

A senior spokesperson said that the center would be planning to appoint separate governors for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana this time.There is the possibility of appointing Shankar Murthy from Karnataka as TS Governor and Gujarat former Chief Minister Anandiben as AP Governor.



The Center is expected to have two governors are necessary as the present two governments have two separate capitals.

In the AP Bifurcation law, The law has not specified that the same Governor should serve a ten-year tenure for two states.

In this perspective, the spokesperson has analyzed that, The Centre has the authority to appoint separate governors two governments.

He opinioned that the governor's appointments would be taken after the sessions of Parliament.
